 Owner / waiter who didn't even laugh to pay for it. Excellent cold cuts, mediocre first courses, school canteen meat.

the first courses are EXCELLENT, they are really delicious and made at the moment, I especially recommend the first course with wild boar; really everything to eat fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrivato in questa locanda per mangiare un pasto caldo, ho scelto di prendere qualcosa di leggero per non appesantirmi troppo, ma sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla qualità dei piatti. Il propietario te li prepara al tavolo, e questa è una cosa che mi ha colpito molto, e anche vedendo i piatti delle altre persone in sala erano tutti di un bell'aspetto. Il servizio è preciso e gentile, sicuramente se tornerò a Castel di Sangro tornerò a mangiare qui. 5 stelle meritatissime
When I arrived at this inn to eat a hot meal, I chose to take something light so as not to get too heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. The owner prepares them for you at the table, and this is something that struck me a lot, and even seeing the dishes of the other people in the room they were all very nice. The service is precise and kind, surely if I return to Castel di Sangro I will return to eat here. 5 stars well deserved

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alla vista il ristorante non sembra eccezionale, ma basta sederti e cominciare a mangiare per ricrederti, tutto veramente ottimo, consiglio le pappardelle al cinghiale e un assaggio di abbacchio.
Staff un po' impacciato ma veramente professionale..

At first sight the restaurant does not seem exceptional, but just sit down and start eating to change your mind, all really great, I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar and a taste of lamb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posticino curato con un'ottima cucina. Perfetta la gestione della sala. Cinghiale e abbacchio super. Colpisce il fatto che le pietanze vengano tutte rigorosamente sporzionate al tavolo. Incluso i dolci. Prezzi da trattoria. Mi ritengo molto soddifatto e consiglio la locanda a tutti i buongustai!!!
Nice little place with excellent cuisine. Perfect management of the room. Super wild boar and lamb. It is striking that the dishes are all strictly proportioned to the table. Sweets included. Trattoria prices. I am very satisfied and I recommend the inn to all gourmets !!!

We had dinner, and it was all very good, we had pappardelle with mushrooms, pappardelle with wild boar and entrecote, the very courteous owner with beautiful traditions. I highly recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place just proves that you don't have to be the fanciest restaurant to produce outstanding Italian cuisine. This is by far the best meal experience we had during our trip, the host was a lovely older Italian guy who was very attentive and made sure that all our orders were served perfectly. All our dishes tasted amazing, we had the crostini, gnocchi with gorgonzola and one of his tagliatelle dishes and they all tasted incredible including the dressed mixed salad we ordered! This restaurant is also very inexpensive and great value for money. Overall a great experience of real Italian cuisine and hospitality!
