We had a lunch on the 23rd April. As it was my husband's birthday I asked to arrange a birthday cake. Did not hear a confirmation so I thought they forgot and I got too busy to ask again. But with a very pleasant surprise, it was arrange perfectly and we did a super delicious lunch! The location is amazing and of course the service was spot on! Especailly Dalma was one of the best chef de rang we have met! She made our experience to the next level. We will definitely go back there again.

A very disappointing experience and waste of a night (and money) in Florence. The positives were: amazing and lovely staff, and the Chef came out to meet us and was extremely nice. A few of the dishes and all of the starting bites were great. I feel bad leaving a negative review and didn’t complain at the restaurant, mainly because it was supposed to be a special night for my wife and I didn’t want to ruin it by complaining, but owe it to anyone looking for reviews to be honest: Negatives: Due to off season (first week of Feb) it was only my wife and I at the restaurant for a honeymoon dinner and they still didn’t let us check out the balcony for the view. I was told they’ll check with the manager but it never happened. So the “ambiance” was just a boring corner table with plain surroundings you can experience at your local coffee shop for free. We both had 3 course ala carte. The first courses of beetroot starter, duck ramen and red shrimp dishes were the highlights, very delicious. My wife enjoyed her pigeon main course. Unfortunately for my order the food got worse with each course. My second course of pumpkin risotto with herring had a weird after taste and smell perhaps from fermented herring, but I couldn’t have more than a bite. Perhaps more criminal is the inedible main course of lamb I was served. The lamb shoulder was over cooked to the point that it had texture of foie gras. Completely dry and tasteless. I literally couldn’t swallow a bite and had to gulp it down with water and leave it on the plate. There was also two strips of grilled lamb which were ordinary. I think it’s absolutely inexcusable even for a home chef to screw up cooking lamb, let alone a Michelin star restaurant. I was so upset it ruined the whole night for me, and left my wife consoling me that my gesture of taking her to a Michelin star restaurant was worth it all. Doesn’t matter if we didn’t get the advertised view or enjoyable food. Imagine paying $400 for two and needing consolation that the thought behind it was worth more than the food or experience. Wish I had bought her a Florence souvenir for it instead.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had last night. Tasting menu was super creative , wonderfully executed, and more than deserving of a star when compared to other Michelin restaurants I have visited. Staff were fantastically trained, warm and friendly and delivered flawless service. They even gave my girlfriend a beautiful surprise at the end for her birthday and the chef made an effort to speak to every single table. Thank you to everyone there for a great evening - I would recommend to anyone visiting Florence. Not cheap, but you pay for quality

Unfortunately there is no possibility to give 0 stars. We tried to have a Michelin stared dinner but at the end it was a complete disaster. Except bred and olive oil we could not eat anything. For instance I do not think that a terrible smell and taste of clor could be part of creative cuisine. I am sure it has more to do with lack of freshness of see food. The services where fine but still they charged us with 2 menus we could not eat. According to our opinion they should not have a Michelin star. It is a pity!

We had an outstanding dinner experience at La Leggenda dei Frati. We went for the chef's choice seven course tasting menu and loved every single dish. Additionally, the service was very courteous and thoughtful. I would highly recommend!

Not the best but a saviour from another fine dining from previous night. Food (both presetation and taste) have rooms for improvement. No wow factor that will leave you gasping with excitement. Only the appetisers tickled my heartbeat for a while. Service was rather amateur for some. Try being more attentive and personal, rather than just being seen and robotic. Try explaining the dishes slowly and with more enthusiasm, instead of feeling rushed and monotoned.

If you are looking for fine dining with genuinely good food, this is not for you. The view is great supposedly when the trees are not blocking it in the summer. But even if you get the view, the food is just below average……for heavens sake, uncooked pasta. Are you joking? And the portion of wine paring…. I am sorry, even at Michelin 2 starts in London they were providing more quantity …. In short, don’t come here if you have the money to splurge, there are better places ?
