Abbiamo trovato una location elegante, con una vista sulle isole spettacolare e un personale preparato e attento. Cucina di mare ottima e interessantissima carta di vini con le specialità eoliane. Ci torneremo la prossima volta che passiamo da Salina! We ate here on the recommendation of the Ariana hotel staff. We found an elegant location, with a spectacular view of the islands and a trained and attentive staff. Excellent seafood cuisine and very interesting wine list with Aeolian specialties. We will be back the next time we pass by Salina!

E lo staff è meraviglioso, con la loro simpatia e allegria hanno contribuito a rendere una giornata speciale ancora più speciale!! Ci torneremo di sicuro quando torneremo a Salina!! I piatti sono ben eseguiti e ben presentati, il prezzo non è economico, ma è nella media dell'isola. A good restaurant, they provide fresh fish, the service is courteous and there is a nice view of the sea. The dishes are well executed and well presented, the price is not cheap, but it is average on the island.

Ottimi piatti di pesce fresco cucinati davvero bene!!! Buona scelta di vini locali! I prezzi pero' sono eccessivi secondo me... Easy to reach, 2 steps from the port, the beach, accommodation facilities. Cute, clean and welcoming, fast, courteous and helpful staff. Excellent fresh fish dishes cooked really well !!! Good choice of local wines! The prices, however, are excessive in my opinion ...
P	Paolo Maria Scuderi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo arrivati in questo locale e prima di poter chiedere a qualcuno posto ho dovuto parlare rincorrere due persone e aspettare 15 minuti per poi sentirmi dire “fate aperitivo fish and chips?” Risposta: “no normale”. Visto che non avevamo prenotato non c’erano tavoli liberi. Faccio notare che due tavoli erano vuoti con prenotazione alle 19.00 (ed erano le 20.00 passate) e chiedo se possiamo sederci intanto. Il ragazzo in imbarazzo ci indica un tavolo più lontano e meno bello di quello liberi che riporta una prenotazione senza orario. Finalmente riusciamo a bere due drink (buoni complimenti alla ragazza), abbiamo dovuto chiedere due patatine e sembrava che ci stessero facendo un favore ed una volta arrivate scoprire che erano vecchie. Poco dopo arrivano i ragazzi, pazienza, ci mettiamo sul muretto e finiamo il drink. I peggior 14 euro spesi. We arrived at this place and before I could ask anyone for a place I had to talk, chase two people and wait 15 minutes before being told "do you have a fish and chips aperitif?" Answer: "no normal". Since we hadn't booked, there were no free tables. I point out that two tables were empty with reservations at 19.00 (and it was past 20.00) and ask if we can sit down in the meantime. The embarrassed boy shows us a farther and less beautiful table than the free one, which reports an untimed reservation. Finally we manage to have two drinks (good compliments to the girl), we had to ask for two chips and it seemed like they were doing us a favor and once they arrived they were old. Shortly after the boys arrive, patience, we get on the wall and finish the drink. The worst 14 euros spent.

Alla Grotta non solo il servizio è al top ma soprattutto abbiamo degustato specialità di pesce fresco sapientemente cucinato con semplicità e provato sapori mai sentiti prima. Consigliatissimo! We were in Salina for the first time and already from the first evening we found the best in terms of food and wine. At the Grotta, not only is the service at the top but above all we tasted fresh fish specialties expertly cooked with simplicity and tasted flavors never heard before. Highly recommended!

They were also accommodating for allergies/food preferences. They made a personal dish for my friend who was vegetarian who couldn't find anything on the menu. I'd recommend the spaghetti al nero di seppia for any sea food lovers!
