β β β β β In an area flooded with restaurants attempting to reflect a picture perfect Milanese experience, La Bettola di Piero captures the true spirit and flavor of this town. Hidden from the touristic ruckus near Il Duomo and Castello, they're located on an equally beautiful and historic looking street, perfect for a romantic dinner or for a family with noise-sensitive children. If you don't speak any Latin derived languages, try not to mistake the staff for being rude or unfriendly. I was the only non-Italian in the place, but they still tried to entertain my Spanish attempts at communication when possible. If you're lucky, there will be other guests and you can observe what is likely common local dining environment-like something out of a movie.
If you can shell the 24 euro, I highly recommend the T-Bone veal (described in the English menu as an old Milanese traditional dish). I'll definitely be coming back on every visit to Milan!

We have been here in October 2021 for dinner, eating a spectacular fried brain as an entry, a gorgeous risotto with ossobuco as main course, and a bonnet as dessert. One of the best restaurants ever tasted in Milan!

β β β β β A super warm, friendly and genuine Italian osteria. The food is hearty and filling, well presented but not posh at all. The place is always crowded, especially for lunch. Recommended for sure!

β β β β β We ordered as antipasto the acciughe del cantabrico al verde, the size was incredibly small for its price and wasn't something I couldn't make at home. As primo we ordered the risotto al tartufo nero, again a small portion but this time tasteless, no truffle and not risotto texture. We didn't even go for secondo or dolce. For the prices and normal service they offer, I wouldn't recommend at all.

β β β β β After a recommandation from a friend, we decided to go to La bettola di Piero.
The place is lovely with a charming and rustic decoration. From the menu, as primi we had the ravioli and the risotto. As secondi, the zucca and the rustin negaa. And to finish, a tiramisu and a bonnet (chocolate cake). Everything was soooo delicious. So delicious that we didnt even take the time to take a picture of our secondi! With 2 bottles of water, 2 caffes and 2 coperti we paid a total of 108 euros. Definitively worth it ! I totally recommand !
