Meat was tasty. Pasta not so much. Didn't like the sweet. Waiter was nice. Very expensive dishes.

Small place, great place. From a pure "square feets" point of view, ALventicinque is tiny and crowded, but if you are looking for quality and ideas (or simply, for good food) ALventiticinque ranges from great to awesome! All the hosts are kind and always available to help you with the offering. This tiny place deserves a visit!

After spending around 2 hours looking where to go for dinner, I found AL25 in the nice area of Porta Romano. No regrets - even though I was very late with my reservation, a table was set. The food was delicious, fresh and all produced in their kitchen - even the bread. This enabled me to go for 4 courses without feeling full. The wine was spectacular, especially the white Sicilian wine. One of the owners is originally from Sicily and this shows in both the food as well as the wine list. Perhaps the most surprising was the cheese. I asked for a cheese platter (not mentioned on the menu) and a local cow milk cheese from Lodi blew me away. Wines were a bit expensive compared to your average Italian wine list but nonetheless a greet experience worth every penny.
