Food is amazing and the atmosphere very welcoming! Great for both dine-in or take-away. I would definitely recommend!

Each item on the menu was beautifully composed, flavorful and thoughtful. The chef recently returned from gigs in Australia and Paris and added a very Parisian twist to Italian dishes. Wine recommendations paired nicely with fish, steak tartare. Lovely tiramisu for dessert with complimentary night caps. Lovely everything.

This sophisticated cocktail bar is one of the most beautiful in Milan, hidden out of site you can almost miss it so you have to add it to your list RIGHT NOW. The food is phenomenal and the hospitality (and charming owner) bring the experience over the top. Probably the most fun I've had in Milan to this day.

Super nice food and atmosphere! I ordered the steak in the menu and my friend had pasta.. Both were delish! I would def recommend the prosciutto for the antipasti! Very different and mouth watering! The staff and the owner are great and friendly too!

Very pretty place and location. The waiter who announced to be the sommelier announced however he was there to get us drunk.. weird comment, The waiters flirted generally a lot, but oh well, fine. Until at the end of the eve we understand it was all part of a game. The bill was very high and back home we noticed they had added a bottle of wine (Chablis a la 45 euro) extra to the bill.. we will not be back.. I tried to put this on Tripadvisor as well but it never appeared.. guess that is not an authentic service either or the bistrot paid to not have it published.

although the place might look cute… the wait was very long and the service was poor. the food was so small and not special in the slightest, everyone at every table was devouring their bread baskets. ruined our moods

I had dinner at Sixieme Bistro last night. Everything seemed to start normal: they picked the phone fast, we booked a table easily and they even kept our table as we were running 20' late for our reservation. But it was when we got there that my two friends and I started feeling that something weird was happening. The waiters were running and shouting from one side to the other and they even seemed a bit aggressive. We thought it was just because the restaurant seemed quite full, so we tried to overcome our first impression. They gave us a table close to the main door, kind of separated from the rest of the tables and threw the menus on the table, always with this weird pushy energy. As we knew we would be late, we had already checked the menus in advance to not make them wait more than expected, but to our surprise the menu on the website and the menu in the restaurant didn't totally match. Under the pressure of the waiters we ordered our food. I went for the gnoquis as I am gluten intolerant but the waiter who was taking the order (the manager) told me these gnoquis did have gluten. (??) As I wanted to really make sure of this, I asked him to double with the chef. After seeing his reaction I could tell he didn't like my comment at all, and he pushed me to think about a backup option to avoid the trip back with the chef's reponse, so I went for the cod without spicy sauce. Until the moment I received my dish I didn't know what I was going to eat and all of a sudden... surprise! A white piece of cod with... NOTHING else (for 25€). I asked to a waiter (the youngest, nicest and the only one who was calm) what happened with the rest of the ingredients? He said that the kitchen was closed and that he couldn't do anything... so take it or leave it. I asked to call the manager. When the manager came he literally started yelling (very aggressively) at me, directly in my face, saying that everything else in the dish had gluten, so the kitchen decided to take it out. I could not talk as he didn't let me explain myself. The "rest" he was referring to were fresh tomatoes and olives, which DO NOT have any gluten. I asked them back to my COLD fish, so the manager went to the "closed" kitchen and continued yelling as I could hear this from the table. After a bunch of tiring back and forths I finally could eat a re-composed cold and not very tasty dish. With no soul. Such a pity the whole experience LITERALLY KILLED THE VIBE of my last night in Milano. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT AT ALL. There are many amazing restaurants in the area, with much better service and menu. The place was OK, but the lighting wasn't amazing.

I wish I would read the reviews before I go but tempted by the photos we visited this place and experienced almost all the negative points mentioned here before. As in the photos, the atmosphere is great but all the rest is a pity! Firstly, although we had a reservation, they gave us a table outside and it was pretty cold. When we asked for a solution, they said all the tables were booked inside so we decided to leave the place. Another friend of ours wanted to try her chance one more time and they managed to give her a table somehow and we came back to the place. We were aware that the tables in that area were for dinner but our intention was to make an aperitivo here. We asked whether it was possible to do it here or we had to order some food. Two different waiters said it was fine so we ordered drinks as well as some tapas. Later another waiter came and said that the tables were for dinner and we had to change to the other part. We definitely felt uncomfortable by his way of explaining. So they moved our staff from one place to the other. So it was the 3rd table… And as all this was not enough, in the end, they also charged us sparkling water we did not drink and they rounded up the 78 euro bill to 80 euro without asking us. So I do not recommend this place at all. It is a very unpleasant experience.
