★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant and very well serviced. All dishes ordered were mouthwatering and nicely served. The Pinsa I had was quite delicious. The soup of the day was heavy loaded. The local long pasta "Lombatricceli" carbonara was outstanding. Antipasto and focaccia not words to describe. Good wine from Lazio region didn't let us down. 3 desserts were ordered and all were special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We don’t easily feel tourist trapped, but we did here. We arrived one of the first days of our Italian vacation, at the end of the lunch service with four adults, a 3-year old and a baby of 2 months. The owner (or who we believe was the owner) promptly and kindly suggested we take today’s special. We didn’t see a menu or board, but assumed today’s special was a dish, not a menu. We received some appetizers and a good main dish. We don’t complain about the quality /quantity of the food: it was fine. Service was fast. We were out of the restaurant in less than an hour. However, when the bill came and we were charged near 300 euro, we felt somehow cheated. Especially when we got to know Italian restaurant prizes during our trip...

Now the bad;
I had a party of three with a 80 year old friend. They split the group up and put my old friend on the elevated level. Bad idea.
The service was terrible, I asked that the come out together. It did not.
One plate was polenta with sausage, it arrive luke warm. My friend was to polite to send back for a refire.
Plate two Gnocchi with sauce. This was hot and good arrived about 5 minutes after the first.
Third plate Polenta with mushrooms arrive 24 minutes after the first plate and it was cold. We did send that back for a reheat another 10 minutes. However it was good after that.
The servers appeared to be untrained and not customer friendly. I understand its a stressful time
Customer service is important and some knowledge of the business is helpful.
I voiced my complaints and mentioned we bring groups to the area a few times a year..
the cashier, replied 44 Euro. OK
I asked for at least three cafe for goodwill. She was kind enough to oblige with a frown.
I will compliment the cook on flavor of all food was good,
I blame the service for a bad time.
