Vergogna.
Shame. In full pandemic they wait for the public outside in the street, resulting in a crowd, and if you leave to wait for your turn and return at the right time you are thrown out because you did not wait at the door together with the other twenty customers. . Get a grip on yourself.

40 minuti di attesa per ritirare una busta. Su 8 sportelli previsti, solo 2 in funzione. Complimenti per l'organizzazione.
40 minutes of waiting to collect an envelope. Out of 8 counters provided, only 2 in operation. Congratulations on the organization.

Absolutely disorganized and uneducated staff. Waits exceed 40 minutes every day due to the evident slowness and the affixing of several tickets to be taken, because not all machines are used for all services. Therefore, those who have to send, the main activity of the Post Office, will be perpetually disadvantaged .. it is 13.12, I took the ticket at 12 40 and I am still waiting

I call from abroad to make an appointment and go down on purpose to close an account. Upon arrival there is no appointment in my name and they try to wait for me every 40 minutes between one customer and another. Although I had on the phone what I needed to prepare everything, when I am there they ask me for a number of the country of residence, which I did not know. Obviously after spending ALL morning in the post office I have not done anything. Currently living abroad and having travel problems, contacting them by phone is practically impossible. I do not recommend

Invece, evidentemente, chiedevo troppo.
For the shipment of my package, I did not expect cordiality, but, at least, that the assistant did her job without trying, at any cost, to create controversy. Instead, obviously, I was asking too much.

Slow motion pace of work. Queue out, free counters with employees who pass cards as if they were sloths.

The Post Office in Padova is the real example of why Italy is in recession: employees are lazy and slow, NONE of them can speak english. It took 30 minutes for us to exchange money to get some extra Euros! In other cities like Florence it took us about 3 minutes but here they checked every single banknote with hand looking them up in a book rather using a UV light... They wanted our passport but as a EU member we can travel with our ID cards within the EU and the woman by the counter had to walk away and check if our country was an EU-member state or not! Truly disappointed with the service here which reflects the whole country is a big mess, they want to live from tourism but 99.9% of them can't speak english (I speak 3 languages btw and I felt terrible)....
