β β β β β I highly recommend the Italian Language Institute "Galileo Galilei" to anyone who wants to use the Italian language in a competent, agile and secure manner. I have been taking individual classes with the school for 3-4 years already. I am able to converse, write and read well, at what I would say is an intermediate level. I am able to express facts but also deliver them in a way that conveys my feelings and perspectives. I can now enjoy the benefits of being immersed in daily Italian life. I feel this is in large part due to the individual (one-on-one) instruction that the school offers. Of course the school offers other formats such as group or small-group course. As a person who works in a professional, corporate environment, my time is very important. I want to develop my Italian quickly but with confidence. The Galileo Galilei institute does this well. My lessons are tailored to my learning objectives. The institute is very much oriented to delivering quality service, customized to what their clients need.

β β β β β Excellent school! Contacts with the administration for registering were fluid and they replied swiftly. My trainer was excellent, very friendly (an important detail as I had an individual course of 2 weeks) and used varied training material.

β β β β β I took the art history course for 1 month while in Florence and I was not disappointed! The signing up process and the online communications between the school director Alva and I were professional, timely, and detailed. She answered every question I had and there were no suprises.
My course was converted to a 1-1 from a small group which, being a person who has always thrived in a classroom environment full of people, I enjoyed more than I thought I would. We met 3 times a week and my instructor was very knowledgeable, passionate about the culture and art, and spoke excellent english. I highly recommend him if you decide to take the art history course there. The school also provided housing which had all the essentials, was roomy, close to public transportation, and safe. It was ~30 min walk from the city center but you'll WANT to walk as much as you can in this beautiful city so I didn't mind at all. I had such a great experience and fell in love with Florence and Tuscany as a whole, so much so that I fully plan on returning and taking an Italian language course while I'm at it. You won't regret being an "alumni" of Galilei Institute!

β β β β β I've studied in 3 different Italian language schools in Florence and this one is by far the best one in my experience. I also studied Art history and cooking lessons in this school and I had a blast! Teachers are very professional, lessons are very well prepared and I love the the fact that they can have small groups or particular lessons and customized teaching because I can learn at my own pace. The Director of the Institute is completely involved in your advances and wellbeing during your courses. You will have an experience that will never forget. Very high quality, very fun and enjoyable. Totally recomendable!

β β β β β I spent a considerable amount of time searching for an appropriate school in Italy to continue my study of Italian, especially conversational Italian. I have attended group courses at other schools in Italy and knew that I wanted an individual course. Istituto Galileo Galilei was the perfect choice for many reasons. Communication with the school prior to arriving was superb, especially given the uncertainties with the pandemic (many thanks to Alva for her help and patience). I attended the school for three weeks and savored every minute. First and foremost, the teaching was superb. I bow to Antonio, un maestro della lingua italiana. He pushed me to speak and to use specific aspects of grammar in conversation. Our conversations were memorable and the hours flew away. Although I had studied Italian for three years prior to attending this school, the experience there was transformative because it gave me self-confidence in my ability to speak and a deeper appreciation of the language. Mi manca questa scuola!

β β β β β I am very pleased with the classes: Art History in Florence. Very interesting classes, great organization. Classes were held in museums and historic sites in Florence. A lot of practical knowledge, warm and friendly atmosphere. I recommend!

β β β β β I had a magical 1 month in Florence. My reason for choosing this school was for both Renaissance and Florence city history. I am very happy to make this choice. I would like to thank to Tania for finding those incredible people: Alva was very patient and helpful with organizations and our teacher Ivano, he took care of everyone's needs and built a nice plan for us, he is also very knowledgeable and supports the class with documents. thank you!

They will give tips about Florence and try help you to have nice experience while your studying.
My teacher was lorenzo and he is absolutely very good to learn from and made the class interesting and he is very supportive.
