I’ve taken both private and group lessons at Parola and have loved all of the instructors (Annarita and Silvia are the best!). The location is beautiful and very centrally located so I love walking to school. Definitely join some of their class day trips and guided walking tours.

The teachers are caring professions who work hard to accommodate the needs of individual students. They create a comfortable environment conducive to learning. The school building is lovely and centrally located. The directors are very organized and welcoming. I was enrolled in the grammar class as well as the conversation. Afternoon excursions to learn about the history, churches, art and culture of Florence were available, as well as fun evening social events. I enjoyed meeting like-minded people from all over the world who want to learn Italian! I look forward to coming back next summer! I highly recommend Parola!

Gianluca always responded immediately to my messages, this gave me from the beginning a very good feeling about the school. The instructors are very competent. I had my course with Silvia, who is an excellent teacher, explains everything with clarity and patience and shows a passion for teaching. The school is flexible and adapts to the students needs: I requested to change my conversation course to a higher level and this worked out immediately. I appreciated it a lot. I also liked very much the activities in the afternoon organized by the Scuola (visit to museum, Sta Croce, aperitivo etc.). I had nice conversations in Italian and lots of fun with Simone, other instructors and students. Grazie mille!

The school is very nice, clean and perfectly located, right in Santa Croce and very close to the city centre. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Groups are reduced and the courses are very fairly priced and flexible. All the staff I came across during these weeks were great. Special mention and gratitude to Gianluca who has been very communicative, accomodating and helpful before and during my course, and to my wonderful teachers Annarita and Silvia, who have been absolutely fantastic. Their lessons have been incredibly productive, but also so much fun. Many thanks for these exceptional weeks!! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to learn or improve their italian!!

The classes helped me a lot to assimilate the use of the congiuntivo and feel more confident speaking. The teacher was very friendly and supportive, I can only recommend this school. Also, the location could not be better!

I took online courses for a few weeks about two years ago (in 2020) when I couldn't come due to Corona restrictions, which were great. Then, I finally made it to the school in real life in beautiful Firenze and again, I learned so much! The best teachers Francesca and Marcello and always kindly assisted by Gianluca and Simone. A good mix between grammar and conversations, always in fun classes with interesting topics. 100% recommend this place if you want to learn Italian (whether beginner or more advanced), I personally cannot wait to go back!
