Great service. Good food, but not worth the price. Personally, I've had better food, at other Michelin star restaurants, for much less. Guess you're paying for the "Four Seasons" brand. Probably would have been 3 stars, but Salvatore (Somallier) enhanced the dining experience with his passion and knowledge for great Italian wines. Again, the food was good - just not exceptional.

We came here for our anniversary and it was absolutely gorgeous! Food was incredible but that isn’t what makes this place quite so great, the service here is exceptional! We ordered the crepes for dessert to share and our server came out and set alight to them using a portable hob, it was incredibly beautiful, romantic and felt so personal!

We came here last year for or honeymoon meal and again this year for our anniversary and my birthday. It did not disappoint- in fact the second time was even better! Absolutely magical meal! We were seated outside overlooking the largest private garden in Florence and watched the sunset as we ate our 5 course tasting menu. I would have to say that each course got better and better culminating in the best dessert I’ve had (and I’ve eaten at 2 Michelin star restaurants where the dessert was a let down). It was just so well thought it and executed with the right balance of flavours. So memorable and the one to beat, now. Service was amazing- we felt so looked after and special the whole evening. Warning: put on anti mosquito cream, if you’re eating outside, as they bite! Don’t let it ruin a perfectly amazing evening! Afterwards, please explore the hotel and soak in the beautifully restored 15th building which used to be owned by the Medici family. Stunning!

It is unfair to put a review for a place when I could not get in and try the food. However despite my reservation and due to very strict way the sanitary protocol was respected they did not allow my 13 years old daughter in, so we skipped the reservation. I try to understand the management but one should not be more zealous about the rules. When we arrived at Florence we checked the sanitary protocol and my family had all the conditions to be accepted in restaurants and hotels of the city. We are triple times vaccinated and my daughter had 2 shots and it was enough to get to hotels, restaurants, airplanes and trains but here the management decided that it was not enough for an authorized visitor and tourist to enter the premises ! Anyway the staff was respectful and I cannot complain about their behavior other than it was over zealous !

Absolutely delicious. The food is all upscale and flavorful, paired with attentive and professional service. Very romantic atmosphere in lovely setting. Every single detail made our dinner more special.

It’s a great atmosphere and top service. Experience wise, it’s a 5/5. However, food is delicious, but I’ll only give 4/5 for the food.

I just want to begin by praising the staff at the restaurant for excellent and friendly service throughout. However, sadly we found that the food on offer here was incredibly basic and not worthy of a Michelin star. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Lots of raw vegetables served with unremarkable sauces and purees, and generally pretty uninspiring stuff. We expected compact culinary servings with big flavours to back them up, but this just didn't happen. The wine servings the dishes were paired with were some of the smallest I've ever encountered and once again, unimpressive. It's not all doom and gloom though - there was a beautiful risotto and some nicely cooked lamb that were the highlight of our experience, but beyond that we were expecting much more for the price. Atmosphere-wise we found the dining area to be relatively cold and dull. A candle on the table wouldn't go amiss! It was quite dark and detracted from what was meant to be a romantic meal. Overall, based on our visit we wouldn't recommend this restaurant as a Michelin-star dining experience. In my opinion there are definitely more creative offerings to be found elsewhere.

This Michelin rated restaurant is located in the Four Seasons Hotel. As expected, the hotel decor was top notch especially during Christmas season. The hotel bar (we had a drink before dinner) was also beautiful. The restaurant itself, while nicely appointed, paled in comparison to the hotel itself. The service was absolutely phenomenal, one of the best I’ve experienced at a Michelin restaurant. The cocktails were made to order and were stupendous. The pacing was good, the bread service creative and tasty, and the appetizer was presented wonderfully. The textures were great and the food was well balanced; just not the tastiest across the board, ergo the four stars.
