M	MariMar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Bistecco Fiorentino! That’s what we came for. If we would rating only Bistecco it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest evenings in Florence, 35 degrees C. We were seated outside, together with at least 40-50 other guests, on a “terrace” that can comfortably accept 30 guests, especially in this epidemiological situation. So, four of us had two “Bistecco”, 2.5 kg together, wonderfully prepared and salads. We know that red wine shouldn’t be cold, but we were served wine which temperature was bit higher than air’s 35 degrees. Okay, we used some ice…At the end, we asked for a bill, waiter brought it, we prepared the cash with tip. After few minutes waiter came back, took the cash, asked where is the bill, I showed him, he took it from my hand and went away without saying a word. So, more professionalism and kindness towards the guests is a must for Perseus!
N	Nick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty much the level you’d expect at a site catering primarily to tourists who want a view. The service is condescending and inconsistent. The worst part: I was given the opportunity to select my location . Almost immediately a party of four was seated adjacent, all smoking. I asked to be moved, as there were plenty of empty tables, and they made a big show of having me remain seated and moving the smoking party elsewhere. But not less than five minutes later, after I had already received my food, they seated yet another smoker in the same spot. I gave up, rushed through the meal and got out of there. In restaurants with outdoor spaces of this size, is it too much to expect a smoking and non-smoking section in 2022?
P	Pepper Poppins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant with amazing beefsteak. However, 1.2kg per 2 people is too much for the Asian stomach. I love how we were served ưeith a bowl of growing vegetables like the picture! The light is a little bit too dim outside. I hope to eat in a brighter space when I come back.

And the bread was dry, old and with zero taste…the worst I ever had in Italy. The waiters were cold and reserved to put it nicely and were rather annoyed by any requests. So, basically there are way better options in Florence.

Menu was only in Italian on arrival so left us a bit nervous but servers spoke English so it was not a problem. We ordered the bistecca alla florentina for two and the steak was juicy, fatty and melted in your mouth. Service was quick and efficient and server cuts the steak for you in typical florentine fashion. House wine was tasty and fairly priced. Highly recommended experience for anyone traveling to Florence.

My wife’s (vegetarian) sage and butter ravioli was very good as well, but the other elements of the restaurant are a passing thought. Really kitschy over the top “salads” serve as the table centerpiece, (my wife and I tried to eat some which I, sadly, don’t recommend as many of the veggies were dirty and limp — cute presentation and fun but upsetting bc it’s never cool to see food waste). The bread is kinda stale and the wine list is meh. But service is friendly and prices seem on point with what to expect here in Florence.
