★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It s important to know they have gluten free options. This confirm the quality of ingredients. They are flexible, the food has subtile tastes. It s not a fast food restaurant. At lunch they have menu of the day but be there at 12 because is full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid little upscale place tucked down a side street. The fare is a bit pricey and the serve was solid. They did offer a number of amuse bouche (Prosecco, soup, grapefruit mousse). The bread is delicious and the house wine was good. Veal pasta (pici) very tasty but filling. Good portion sizes. Not sure I’d go back, but we tend to like hole in the wall value finds. This is more upscale for our taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trattoria Cucchietta is a very nice place, the interior is new, owners and staff are very nice and do a good job. I love the open kitchen.
Food is very good, they have a good variety of items on the menu. The night we went we had some starters (a bit disappointing in size but all in all nice), and a meat course (excellent quality and cooking). Desserts looked nice but were rather normal.
Now the bad parts. The place is small so if there are groups coming in (like the night when we were there) it tends to get quite noisy. Prices are too on the high side considering that the place is almost in the suburbs. Yes food is good but "that" good.
All in all a nice place, good for a romantic or casual dinner with above average food served.

Beside that, the quality of the food is "Top quality" and the prices are very reasonable.
The location is very modern and comfortable.
I strongly recommend to try this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best meal we had in Florence. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the busy yet laid back vibe. They were very service minded without being in your face, and the food was amazing. Our only regret is, that we only went once.
