It has been hard to find good cocktails in Italy and even harder in Tuscany, but Idyllium exceeded expectations. Their house cocktails are interesting and they can make all the classics too! The seating area is comfortable, relaxed, has great art and great views.

They have specialized food and cocktails with reasonable price. I stayed in Pienza for only two days and went their twice!! I’d just ask the staff for recommendations and was always satisfied. It’s like a cave bar, with a view of the valley outside. I could see how well the owner designed this place from many details!

Tourist trap Dont go there We bought a pizza afterwards Very very small portions for very high prices Waiters are very unfriendly- the owner is very nice and kind However very bad decision to go there First they say they only have dinner if we want to stay Then the owner says we can have aperitivo Then again waiter says they dont have

This place was the highlight of our visit to Pienza. Or even our whole trip to Tuscany. Come to Pienza for the pecorino and for this place called Idyllium. These guys have created a spectacular place. Lovely interior but when possible you should take place outside of course. A narrow but less crowdy street near the edges of the historic center. Decorated with lovely plants where one of the spend some much effort in while we take a seat and enjoyed the menu. Italian tapas-like bites. The fried pecorino was our favorite. The cocktails were even better. Not also the taste but also the presentation of it. The papale papale was served in a cup where you drink sacremental wine from. The blood of Jesus. With the body of Jesus as decoration in the form of sacramental bread. These guys are so into the details. The view is for free. Great!

If I end up getting quarantined in Italy, I would just stay at this restaurant. I could just camp out on their balcony. Not only is the view breathtaking, but all the food we tried was delicious. Such a great selection of tapas! Big shout out for the carpaccio, the passionfruit salmon tartare, the zucchini pie and the cheese and honey. Holy buckets, it was all amazingly delicious.
