Love the location and the friendly and helpful staff. Nice quiet hotel, beautiful gardens..wonderful heated pool.

My family and I stayed over a four day weekend in September. Everything was very nice, clean and well attended. Good food and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Very charming elegant hotel. Wonderful pool and gardens. Great position for Lacco Ameno and for local restaurants and shops. Rooms were cleaned beautifully every day and we were supplied with fresh towels and soap every day.

3 stars hotel just on the road (on a positive note a small walk brings you to the center of Lacco Ameno where you can find some cafès and restaurants), the garden is nice, the rooms are quite old. I didn't like the service, not very helpful (they never send somebody to repair my room door), and they didn't provide us with recommendations to enjoy the island at the best. Breakfast is horrible. Don't go if you are less than 75 years old. Bad value for money.

Room was a bit small. Our room was facing the street and windows were so old it doesn't matter if it's open or closed the noise was awful. Streets are full at 5 AM so no sleep after that. Personal was nice. If you have included breakfast - don't rely on it. It's the most basic breakfast for this kind of hotel. Sweets and coffe. Location is fantastic. Pools are great.

Excellent hotel ! The personnel is very king, at your service and make your holiday better. Rooms are comfortable. The hotel offers lots of other services (thermes, spa, restaurant delicious!). Next to beaches, restaurants, shops, ... definitely will come back with friends or family !

I spent three nights at the Villa Svizzera and have to say that for what I was paying it was excellent value for money. My room was very comfortable and well maintained, the quality of the food overall was good and staff were courteous and professional for the most part. However, throughout my stay the indoor pool was cooler than I was told it would be (and bad weather prevented me from using the outside pool although it was also cold) which made it quite unpleasant to use, and every time I asked about this the member of staff basically said they hadn’t been aware. In terms of food, the concept of ordering both meals at breakfast time, i.e. lunch and dinner, while I understand the necessity did feel quite limiting and the menu was very restricted. What I would also say is that while pasta or first courses were largely exceptional, the second courses were far more hit and miss and side dishes genuinely felt like an afterthought. I was also conscious that it felt overall like meals were on a timer and you were expected to eat your meal and leave the restaurant as soon as possible, having said that there really wasn't somewhere comfortable to then set especially since the hotel was quite busy with a large group who occupied almost the entirety of the common areas. I also found the fact that I was not allowed to take a glass of wine out of the restaurant to sit in a more comfortable seat to finish it quite uncompromising. All in all yes the hotel is lovely and for an off season break it is a good choice and is good value for money but perhaps I wasn't their ideal clientele.
