β β β β β This older hotel in Stresa provided a pleasant stay during a trip to visit the islands on lake Maggiore. The hotel is located a few minutes walking away from the ferry terminal, very practical! The reasonably priced room was on average good; small but clean, one negative were the beds (2 single beds forming a double) that too easily moved away from eachother creating an uncomfortable gap. The continental breakfast was good and the staff very friendly!

β β β β β Fantastic hotel, excellent location, short walk to offices for boat trio to the beautiful islands and the cable car ride .
10 minute walk from the centre along the lake with amazing views.
Our room was clean and very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

β β β β β Friendly staff, rooms were ready with some delay but the facility is very welcoming. Old style classic hotel. Comfortable bed, pillows could be better. Very quiet and perfect location. Overall, a pleasant stay!

β β β β β Had a wonderful stay at this hotel which is about 250 yards from Lake Maggiore. Sone bedrooms overlook part of the lake and mountains and others overlook the well kept gardens. The hotel staff are very friendly and speak English. The food was excellent and the service very good. The hotel was adorned with some beautiful paintings which have been painted by the owner of the hotel. The lounges and bar areas were comfortable and pleasing. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom too a good size. There was plenty of wardrobe space, television, safe but no tea making facilities. Our balcony had a table and two chairs which looked out onto the lake and overlooked the swimming pool. The hotel was in easy reach of the ferry which commutes between Stresa and the islands on the lake. Beautiful area with numerous points of interest. Well worth a visit!

β β β β β The room is comfortable. A bit dated. No secure safe to put belongings. Very good breakfasr. Location is good. A 10mn walk to centre along the lake. Swimming pool is nice , small but lovely. The terrace on top is lovely. Should have put a bar on top.

β β β β β We stayed the last days here and we literally had the perfect stay at hotel Royal in Stresa! Perfect service and super friendly staff member! Everyone who's working there is doing their work with all their heart and famiglia Rosa and their team are taking care very well for their guests! The rooms and the hotel area is super clean and there is like a "home feeling" in the hotel area. The atmosphere is friendly and creates an allround well-being.
