β β β β β So cool to stay in an actual Mediaeval Castle! Would definitely recommend it. It is supposedly a 5 star Hotel, but don't expect 5 star by normal standards. It is well worth the trip and stay though. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

β β β β β Magical place to stay! Beautiful medieval castle turned into a 5* hotel. Friendly staff, great views, nice garden and swimming pool. The rooms are rather 4-star, but staying at such a stunning place makes you forgive all those little details.

β β β β β It's pretty cool experience staying in a castle for a night but the accommodation is not 4 star hotel quality. The bathroom is very out dated...it was not clean and bed was not comfortable either. Also the breakfast area... dusty and the food was just ok. The ppl r nice though! So it's nice experience for one night but I don't think worth staying many nights there.

β β β β β We spent our honeymoon here. The castle and the surrounding village and countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms were nice although they were in keeping with the period atmosphere they were definitely not equipped with all modern comforts. All part of the experience. The plumbing was pretty period too. We had some battles with the shower. If there is a negative it would be that some of the staff made us feel we were in their way at times. Food was excellent.
Try it. It is an unforgettable experience.

β β β β β Have you ever wanted to stay in a Castle this is the experience you have been waiting for. We have stayed in alot of castles but once you're through the doors on them its like you're in a regular hotel but not this place. Our room was huge and each room had a great view. There are tapestries on the walls and suites of armor all over the place. The restaurant was real good and kept with the ambiance of the Castle with candle light and great food. The morning breakfast buffet had tons of options and all were real good. I especially liked the hot tea bar and the pastry selection. We can't wait to come back during the summer.

β β β β β Of course this castle is very magnificent and it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. The staff in the castle is very friendly and helpful.
The dinner in the restaurant was good. I liked ravioli very much, meet had a good quality and thank for advice waiter - we ordered perfect wine from Sicily. Highly reccomend to order it.

β β β β β This self awarded 5-star hotel is not to be compared with 5-star Forbes/ 5-diamond AAA awarded hotels. The 5-star rating is misleading as it doesn't provide the service or quality of such a rating. The bedroom furnishings were in bad condition and the carpet was stained and discoloured. The shower was connected to the tap and with no fixtures to hang it to the wall. Some towels were worn through and there was an assortment of different branded toiletries. Breakfast - fruit salad from a tin! I don't think the pastries were made in-house either. The quality was basic but plentiful. Billard room was equipped with half the number of balls needed and cues without tips or chalk. Wifi didn't work in our room, terraces or by the pool.
This castle hotel has the potential to be so much better. If they want it to be 5-star then they should charge 5-star prices and provide the service and quality that is expected. It's a half-hearted effort to be superior.

β β β β β an excellent place to stay, we came across it while on a road trip in Europe. We where a family of four staying, Hitler was comfortable and had beautiful gardens and heartwarming views, the pool and facilities where excellent, the glass lift was a nice effect
