β β β β β We had an excellent experience during our stay.
This lovely property was the perfect setting to relax and disconnect.
The entire staff was warm and welcoming. In truth, the whole operation is run efficiently and professionally. It was clear that everyone at Principe di Salina takes an incredible amount of pride in making its guest feel special.
Dinners particularly stand out as they reflect the freshest items available on the island each day and are wonderfully prepared by one of the owners, Silvana. She will even spend time discussing each dish and it's preparation.
Overall, I can't say enough kind things about the environment created by this incredible family.

β β β β β Since the first second we stepped into the Cozy Boutique Hotel the feeling of "serenity" we all look for during our days off was there, waiting for us. It was in the smiles of the friendly and professional staff and family members welcoming you, in the positive energy that the neat and carefully selected decorations and furniture create, in the simple but elegant dishes we have tried thought the day, from breakfast to dinner.
I would absolutely recommend il Principe di Salina to anyone looking for a premium experience without the formalities of a pretentious location.

β β β β β Possibly my favourite hotel in the world. You'll feel adopted by the beautiful family atmosphere the staff create, everything they do is with love. Similar standard to Relais Chateaux properties, but more personal being a family operated, less stuffy, more authentic and relaxed. The food is also fantastic. Dining on the terrace at sunset is amazing. Spend a week there.

β β β β β Anita and her team could not have been more helpful and generous from start to finish. The hotel is run professionally and to a very high standard by a warm team. They helped us plan our journey, our stay and provided recommendations for our onward travels. The hotel and rooms are sparkling clean, well designed and feel like new. The dinner was the best we had on any of the Aeolian Islands. The location is a perfect base to explore Salina and beyond. We would highly recommend a stay.

β β β β β One of my favourite stays ever, we shall return.
Anita did a terrific job with Principe di Salina, and the whole crew is fantastic. (I did a bad job with the photos, but was too busy taking in the experience to play with my phone).
At Principe di Salina youβre taken care of before you even make a reservation - yep, I had asked them to post me on any cancellation for the dates I wanted and they surely did so. With personalized care, the team will be in touch via Whatsapp (super convenient) and emails, will arrange your transportation to and from the hotel and will also arrange a COVID test on premises to help guests comply with travel requirements.
Youβll have access to electric scooter to go about the island (environmentally friendly and super efficient), youβll be able to enjoy the infinity pool overlooking the sea and the Eolian Islands, start the morning with a delicious breakfast featuring local must-have (brioches for the win!), as well as savory and sweet options.
The hotel is spotless, the views are breath taking, the rooms incredibly comfortable, but what really sets PdS apart is how the team makes you feel at home, cared for, valued, a priority. The kindness, helpfulness, happiness and efficiency of the team is unparalleled.
Our stay felt like a real vacation and we are so happy we were able to experience it. We shall be back!

β β β β β I would have given a sixth star if possible.
The location is dreamy, 5 minutes walking to the centre, a beautiful white villa designed with style and an international touch blended together with a traditional Aeolian touch, the swimming pool faces the sea with a lovely chill area for sun bathing over nice beds and a cocktail bar, also the terraces and lounges are very nice and greatly designed.
The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and fresh, with private terraces including an hammock.
Breakfast is delicious and the dinner is served with all the guests sitting over a beautiful table on the terrace, which makes the experience very social (if one wants) and enjoyable, on top of eating very delicious food.
The best part is the staff: no words to describe the kindness, attention to any detail, support, friendliness and willing to help and support customers for any of the intrinsical complexity that can happen on an island (like logistic, transfer, bookings etc), the staff is very proactive and also communicate with the guests in a not invasive way (the usage of Whatsapp for this is brilliant), Anita is doing an amazing job together with her staff which is always happy and there to support.
I wish all the hotels were run in the same way, congratulations for the fantastic job you are all doing and I look forward to be back at Principe soon.

β β β β β We cannot find words to describe how wonderful our stay was. This boutique hotel is one of those places that you know you need to come back to. We had only 2 nights and regretted of not having booked more nights before (the hotel got fully booked very fast).
The room was beautifully decorated and you could tell that every detail was thought through. The whole hotel is very cozy and has an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel home. The staff is the cherry on top! They were so attentive and accommodating from the moment we arrived, spoiling us whenever they could!
We were also very happy with our choice of staying on Salina (compared to the other islands).
Weβre already looking forward to coming back!

β β β β β Amazing.
We stayed here for our honeymoon and I'd recommend it without question. Stay here, it's worth it. We stayed for two nights, I'd recommend staying for three. You will have enough to do on Salina.
The hotel is collectively run by a family who are keen to do whatever they can to make your stay excellent. It's filled with personal touches and comfortable places to relax.
The food was amazing. Eat here every night! I am celiac and had no problems, the chef used to be a gastroenterologist so she knows how to cook safely.
We will certainly be back!
