β β β β β Stayed in Vila Maria, advertised as lake however staff or owner keeps parking infront of our apartment we rented. Lovely view shame about the car.

β β β β β Went on a buissness trip here from norway, the so called manager is a angry little man, and has nothing to do in the Hotel buissnes.
Pick another Hotel if you are younger than 70.

Very clean, fresh paintwork, service exceptional.
Close to the mountain cable car - well worth avisit, Lido for jumping on and off the Ferries to all parts of Lake Maggiore.
Would recomend the hotel and area to anyone- especially those interested in gardens.

β β β β β Very accommodating. Our rooms with children were nicely located in one corner. The rooms have nice views even if the rest of the hotel doesn't.
Hotel itself nicely located next to the boats and cable car which is good and the walk to the town centre was 15 to 20 mins. Swimming pool was closed as the water was too cold which was disappointing. But the hotel bar and food service were excellent, breakfast really nice and a surprise Easter egg for the kids was a nice touch. Young woman at reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and really was one of the most helpful cheerful people I've ever encountered at a hotel even those with 5 stars.
