the swimming pool is cleaned every day
great and large rooms with big bed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly but the rooms were a bit worn down. Fan of the airco couldn't be adjusted and some parts of the hotel had a sewage smell. One good thing was the neighbouring restaurant with the same name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel located in the middle of Tuscany country. It was high standard and not that expensive. The room was clean & the staff nice. The swimming pool is located away from the hotel, via a small path behind and was really quiet!

Location is a bit far away from the centre of Lucca, however it is within range for both syclists and for people who are able to walk for 20mins.
The pool is nice, normally sized and outdoors.
There is a bar at the recieption. It seems like they are open 24/7.
Breakfast was not too good. Muffins, toast and yoghurt. The kids loved it, but not what i prefer to start the day with..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff working there is super nice but the hotel doesn’t deserve the 4 stars. Actually I thought it was a 2 stars hotel.
The bedroom is new and clean, but the bathroom wasn’t renovated and it looks the bathroom from a hospital. Also the bed doesn’t have a bed lamp so if you want to read and your partner is sleeping all the room is lightened up.
Breakfast is poor and the coffee machine was almost always broken.
The wifi signal was inexistent at room 109 and since I had to work I had to take a broken chair (both chairs broken) from the balcony and sit on the corridor. I complained three times with no solution or alternative.
The hotel doesn’t have the evacuation plan in the rooms (i think it’s mandatory).
Swimming pool is pretty nice but there is an automatic shower at the entrance without any sign. So if you walk with your book and phone get ready to get them wet.
Too bad because the hotel has potential and staff is friendly.

Service at the reception was nice.
It might approach more to a 3 star hotel then 4 star, although the price was correct.
