★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hotel. Staff brilliant, very helpful, polite and smiley. Food really good. We stayed half board and could not fault one thing. A friendly family run Hotel at its best. Thank you Hotel Astoria for making our weeks holiday the best we have had. Gratis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was lovely but evening meals were awful. Strange menu choices which had to be ordered the night before. Overcooked tasteless vegetables. Abandoned the hotel for the last 2 nights to eat at local restaurants. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food not very nice. Very expensive. No T /coffee facility . Not enough staff available at breakfast or evening but must state the two ladies were absolutely fantastic. Evening meal had to be completed by 9pm. Breakfast was something to be desired. Definitely will not book again. The room was ok nothing special but very basic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just returned. Excellent hotel with friendly staff & lovely food with waitress service dinner.plus continental breakfast. Great pool area with loads of beds 7 the views are stunning over the lake. Brilliant!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff who will go out their way to help you, hotel is very clean and serve lovely food. With wonderful views of Lake Garda and a lovely pool at the back of the hotel situated in a suntrap most of the day, very relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely little hotel situated on the north side of Lake Garda. The staff are friendly and evening food is great, I would recommend going half-board. By far the best feature of this hotel is the stunning location across from the lake and overlooking the mountains. If you’re into watersports it’s ideal as there are lots of activities on the lake. Had a fantastic week and look forward to booking this hotel again in the future. Had a fantastic week and look forward to book in this hotel again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I recently spent a week here and we absolutely loved it. It's far enough away from the town to be peaceful and relaxing but not isolated. We had a lovely room 314 which because it's on the side had stunning views of the lake and the mountains. Couldn't fault the hotel....some people didn't like having to choose good for the next night but I really didn't see the problem. The food was great, unusual at times but always tasty, and plenty of it. The pool is amazing. Lovely to cool down late afternoon. Staff were fab. The bus service is good, if a bit erratic, but that's understandable when you see how much traffic is trying to get in and out on one road! The road noise just needs filtering out...easy to do. Cable cars definitely worth doing as is a boat trip to Limone. Malcesine town is gorgeous. Just loved every second of our holiday. Enjoy.
