★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals ive had in my life! The lamb was amazing! The staff was extremely hospitable! They explained stuff really well and kept checking if everything was OK . It was a Sunday and most restaurants was closed, I stopped a random lady on the road who was extremely helpful... Turns out she works at Carducci and even made a reservation for me... Grazi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding food, wine and service. Highly recommend the guanciale, tortellini in brodo and salumi plate. Sit on the road side patio in summer and enjoy! Was open in August when many others weren't. If you can go to one restaurant, go here and sit outside at one of the few patio locations so you can see the streets. It was incredible and by far, one of the best meals I have ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With our first night in modena not knowing where to eat, we followed local reviews and chose Ristorante Carducci. We were the first diners in and were greated by a friendly and energic waiter (19.45). We ordered quite quickly and had our starters with us in no time. As the restaurant began to get busier there was a noticeable drop in the service, mainly to us. We kept getting overlooked. What made this even more annoying was the fact the owner was sat there at her desk. Staring and blowing her nose quite loudly. Feel she should have helped with the service. After an hours wait, we got out mains. They were good but not stunning for the wait. Finally we got the bill at 21.30. Their machine was playing up and forced us to use an alternate payment which didn't benefit us.
It is a real shame that they dropped the ball in service as it knocked the food and their previous reviews. I would not recommend. If you do end up eating here, it is groupon. Only found that out after the restaurant filled with groupon users.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So yum. Dining alone I didn't get to try nearly as much as I would have liked, but everything was exceptional. Every bite was to be savored. The best melt-in-your-mouth salumi I've ever tasted (I've tasted many!) Tortellini in brodo, strawberry preserves and marinated artichokes...all exceptional.

Fabulous meal, excellent service.
The pasta with truffles was amazing, the truffles were very fragrant.
Our steak was perfectly cooked and the traditional balsamic vinegar made it even better.
The cheese plate was absolutely perfect, all of them were delicious, and the homemade jam and candied blood oranges were great.
Nice wine list, our recommended wine was very good. Prices were fair.
A great meal in a great city!
