★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The product is beautiful but buying has to do everything with emotions, especially in luxury goods. A bad experience means a bad memory which results in a lesser connection to the product.
We both felt so uncomfortable being shadowed by the Hèrmes lady. She kept walking 20cm behind us and we did not like the shopping experience at all.
With everything me and my friend even slightly looked at she came with ten options, which was very pushy and resulted in us not daring to browse around. Also very insincere. If you are sincere you build a connection, your customer trust you, appreciates your opinion ánd will come back.
I came for a scarf I really loved and to browse around some more with the intent of buying but we felt so 'chaperoned' that we decided to buy nothing and leave asap.
This is my vision, maybe others like to be 'pampered' in that way. Nothing to the lady personal, but please, feel the vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service and attitude of the staff. No one will great you, the suppose host was scanning me from head to toe and just told me to go upstairs. They don’t even allow me to ask a question/ finish my sentence and immediately says there are other waiting customers. Zero service I am used to go to Hermes stores around Europe and use to wait for available staff, but I never have experience this bad of attitude of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was at the hermes store in milan today. One of the store employees showed the customer the shoes I wanted. Then when I asked, he told me that you don't have shoes. moreover, when the other customer looked, it was the same number as me. He helped me when I told him what I saw. it was so rude that we lived in such a big brand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just passed over Hermes and I left crying. Sellers were pulling me over the floors as a ball, no one wanted to help, I felt really forceless and lost. I have never seen someone abandoned me just because another client came and was going to purchase, or because “your assistant is Rkia please ask her for sizes and trying items when she is here, don’t waste my time”.
The first time after 20 years in Europe I felt so humiliated. If you are not ready to help people, why go to work in such place?.. obviously it is stressful atmosphere, but is there any chance to remain human?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new big store is amazing, it looks stunning and has a huge variety on products. All sales assistants are very friendly and helpful. Even if they are busy, they take their times to help you or forward you to a colleague of they have an appointment.
Also the customer service is amazing. I had to change a bracelet because I bought it too small for my husband and they changed it without hesitating. And also I had to get one of my bracelets repaired which took some time, but also it worked very well and I got informed when it was ready and they kept it for me 3 weeks as I didn’t have a chance to pick it up earlier.

The shop wasn’t crowded, and of course it couldn’t be as per the covid rules, however other customers and I have been waiting for ages to be assisted.
After that, The shopping assistant was great, very professional, available and happy to help me finding the best item for my needs. The payment was smooth and the cashier was very kind.
