★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gentleman who ended up helping us was phenomenal - friendly and helpful. The woman who initially helped when we walked in was not. We were looking for a specific belt the store did not have. She claimed there was no other Gucci in Florence and that the closest one was an hour away, and kept recommending alternative options. We then walked past another Gucci by SM Fiore piazza - she totally lied to get a sale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute WORST experience I have ever had in ANY store. At 4, a worker named Luciano gave me the ok from the manager (a woman) to buy a limited edition bag. I taxi’d back to my hotel to grab my passport, and was back within the hour. They held the bag, I added some items to my order , and was checking out by 7. After the helpful employee Luciano explained the tax refund process, I was approached by the manager who told me the store can no longer sell the items she had promised me earlier. I was spending over 5000 euro in this store and wasted my entire day for the worst customer service I have ever received. She was unable to provide me with a single reason as to why, and continuously dodged giving her managers name. As an avid collector, I am livid, and I will NEVER shop at any Gucci EVER again, and you should NEVER visit this particular store. 0 stars if I could for this manager, TERRIBLE!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is a joke. The staff is patronizing and so fake it makes me cringe. Literally everything I tried got multiple praises and overzealous hand gestures. I wanted to see the purses that were on display on the mannequins at the store window. NONE of them were in stock. What business plan is this??? It all ended well as this nauseating experience drove me to buy something at Prada that was beautiful. What a pathetic luxury store. One star only for the security guy who was friendly and helpful.
