I really hope to go back this summer. It's always nice to get muddy, take the usual pictures like the tower of Pisa, a big shower and soak in the pool. Thermal water.

La caratteristica è l'acqua sulfurea che sgorga dalla roccia. Purtroppo era chiuso, segnalato solo sul posto. The Grotta delle Ninfe spa is located on the provincial road that leads from Francavilla to the town of Cerchiara. The characteristic is the sulphurous water that flows from the rock. Unfortunately it was closed, reported only on the spot.

I wouldn't suggest this place for any travellers as you will just loose your very precious time and end up in a badly kept place which has no opening times listed anywhere - even locals didn't know when it's closed or not. We checked the water at the downstream and it was barely warm right out of the pool.

On Google maps there weren't any closing nor opening times and there were no at the place. The pools were empty and the gates closed. It seems like it just opens in the summer time. But you could still see the hot spring water flowing down. If you are there w/o knowing that it was closed down, go down the road a little and you will see the hot spring river from up above flowing down there. It was kind of like a little canal. The water was not really hot but it definitely smelled like a hot spring. We took a footbath and relaxed at that place.
