★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La gita in barca alle Grotte è doverosa. Stupenda, impegna dalle 3 alle 4 ore in base al porto di partenza (noi siamo partiti da Viste ed è durata 3h circa) e può essere organizzata sia al mattino che al pomeriggio. Il percorso comprende un giro in barca con passaggio in tutte le grotte più suggestive della costa, una sosta di 40 min per un bel bagno nell’acqua limpida del Gargano ed il rientro, senza soste, che vi permetterà di godervi il panorama della costa, fino al porto. Si consiglia di arrivare circa 30/40 min prima della partenza per via della coda per l’accesso ai barconi. In ogni caso vi consiglio ugualmente di arrivare con anticipo per trovare parcheggio senza il riuscito di arrivare tardi all’imbarco. Tutti i parcheggi del circondario sono a pagamento, principalmente nelle aree blu adibite alla sosta, tramite pagamento alle colonnine quindi portatevi della moneta o utilizzate la carta di credito. Non fate i furbi perchè la Polizia Locale passa più volte durante il giorno e la multa è assicurata. Le grotte sono un vero spettacolo della natura!! La gita è molto bella per tutte le età, anche i ragazzi si divertono molto perchè si scoprono posti che non si potrebbero vedere se non in quella circostanza perché inaccessibili a piedi. Il costo varia dai 25€ ai 40€ a persona, alcune compagnie fanno pagare meno i bambini sotto i 12 anni, altre non fanno distinzione. Io con 3 adulti e un bambino ho pagato 87€, onesto a mio avviso.
The boat trip to the Caves is a must. Superb, it takes from 3 to 4 hours depending on the port of departure (we started from Viste and it lasted about 3 hours) and can be organized both in the morning and in the afternoon. The route includes a boat ride with passage in all the most evocative caves of the coast, a stop of 40 minutes for a nice swim in the clear water of the Gargano and the return, without stopping, which will allow you to enjoy the panorama of the coast, to the port. It is advisable to arrive about 30/40 minutes before departure due to the queue for access to the boats. In any case, I still recommend arriving early to find parking without being able to arrive late for boarding. All the car parks in the district are paid, mainly in the blue areas used for parking, by paying at the columns so bring some coins or use your credit card. Do not be smart because the local police pass several times during the day and the fine is guaranteed. The caves are a true spectacle of nature !! The trip is very nice for all ages, even the kids have a lot of fun because they discover places that they could not see except in that circumstance because they are inaccessible on foot. The cost varies from € 25 to € 40 per person, some companies charge less for children under 12, others make no distinction. I with 3 adults and a child paid 87 €, honest in my opinion.
