A fronte di tutto ciò, fa specie rilevare che, a tutt' oggi, non ci sia nemmeno l' ombra di attività commerciali, quali bar, edicole etc. etc., sulla falsariga delle principali ststazioni della metropolitana di Roma o Milano, tanto per citarne qualcuna. Moderna e spaziosa potrebbe essere ulteriormente migliorata se le botteghe fossero utilizzate per bar, edicole ecc...unica nota stonata è l'uscita su Via Archimede dove la Dusty non si sa per quale ragione continua a effettuare lo scarico della spazzatura rendendo la strada un immondezzaio...bel biglietto da visita per pendolari e turisti... La particolarità di questa stazione è il pavimento dipinto di colori diversi che rappresentano le onde del mare. La stazione è ampia, e si presenta tenuta in buone condizioni, unica nota dolente è l’atteggiamento a dir poco arrogante dell’addetto alla sicurezza, con una divisa non ben identificativa del corpo di appartenenza ( forse guardia giurata ), il soggetto in questione si illude di essere vestito di un’autorità non sua, che esprime arroganza e modi bruschi nel relazionarsi con l’interlocutore/trice. La stazione in questione è grande, pulita, ben mantenuta. I treni non sono i più moderni esistenti ma sono abbastanza nuovi e anche piacevoli (sono carini i posti a sedere colorati e lucidi). È l'unico mezzo pubblico della città funzionante nel modo corretto. Però non è ammissibile che il servizio non funzioni la domenica. Un giorno in cui i turisti o gli stessi catanesi potrebbero utilizzarla. Poi le fermate, sono poco utili, il centro città è mal servito. Inoltre la metro è poco valorizzata e pubblicizzata. Passa ogni 10/15 minuti, che vista l'affluenza può essere accettata. Peccato che potrebbe essere un ottimo servizio, ma è poco sviluppato. The judgment is difficult to express.
