In futuro, quando il passante ferroviario di RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) sarà completato e quindi passerà dal Porto, la tratta a binario singolo che va dalla stazione di Galatea a quella del Porto, verrà soppressa definitivamente. A maggior ragione che adesso sono state aperte le nuove stazioni, le stazioni tra Borgo e Galatea, a parer mio dovrebbero essere ringiovanite, perché quelle mattonelle sono veramente squallide e tristi. Ascensori attualmente non funzionanti in nessuna delle stazioni! Ahimè come in tutte le altre del vecchio tracciato, gli ascensori non sono mai entrati in servizi. Ma resta una stazione particolarmente importante che serve la zona costiera della vicina ognina e scambia con la vicina nuova fermata FS di Catania Europa Station of the first subway lot. Entro in metro alle 21(di sabato) compro il biglietto passo i tornelli e dopo 5 minuti il servizio d vigilanza mi stava chiudendo dentro (per fortuna nn avevo gli auricolari alle orecchie) esco e mi rivolgo al vigilante che mi risponde che il servizio chiude alle 21 da anni peccato che nulla lo segnala. In breve ho bruciato un biglietto per poco non sono rimasto chiuso dentro e osservazione personale chiudere una metro alle 21 d sabato non è un servizio. Terrible!!!
