Certo ci sono dei punti da migliorare come ad esempio dicitallizzare le fermate con voce guida che annunci le stazioni. Ma è un primo ottimo passo avanti. Ben pulita e ambienti luminosi che non fanno sembrare di essere troppo in un luogo chiuso com'è la metropolitana. Ascensori funzionanti su chiamata e scale mobili fortunatamente funzionanti praticamente quasi sempre. Costante manutenzione delle stesse. Sembra messa in una posizioni inutile ma invece, forse infelice la geometria del territorio, però serve una zona densamente popolata del viale Fleming. È servito dalla linea 21M che esegue il giro della cittadella universitaria e collega la fermata con il parcheggio scambiatore di Santa Sofia. Quindi stazione utilissima per chi dai paesi limitrofi deve scendere in centro. Con 2€ si ha parcheggio custodito, grande, servizio shuttle e metropolitana per tutto il giorno. Da lì passa anche il BRT1. Quindi ottima stazione metropolitana di scambio Station of recent construction in the wider project of extension of the Catania underground. It's not that heavily used at the time of writing but I understand that this line is an extension that has only been open for 8 months or so. Whatever, it's by far the best way to get into the centre of town.
