β β β β β I stayed at Giotto Flavia in Rome from Aug 4th-8th. Since I checked-in to my room, the bathroom door was not closing properly because the door was swollen due to water damage. Upon my check-out, the employee insisted that the damage was done by me and I need to pay 100 euros.
I explained that the door was in that condition since I first checked in but they threatened me that they will call the police.
I ended up paying 100 euros because I did not have time for further argument as I had a train to catch. The door was not functioning properly in the first place.

β β β β β Do not go to foreigners .. I was assigned room with broken door. When I checked out, I had to take responsibility for the broken door. It was 100 euros.
They do not have any responsibility.
If you do not want to ruin your trip, do not go. This is the worst hotel that is responsible for the guests

β β β β β I remember this hotel and rather for bad reasons. Wifi did not work, we were placed in a room out of actual hotel on inner yard. We had a ceeling cooling fan that was about to drop on us. As a bonus we had really unpleasant smell from the toilet. Like no one would stay there for a year.

β β β β β This hotel is very well situated: very close to the most important historic places in Rome. It is also close to bus stops, shops, restaurants, pharmacies and a hospital and to the best gelato in Rome - Gelateria la Romania. The hotel is also quiet and, if you don't switch on an old air-conditioning unit, which sounds like an old tractor, you have quiet, but stuffy, nights. I'm giving two stars because of: very unpleasant and not helpful lady at reception (for example: our daugher felt very ill and we needed to call 112, where no one spoke English, she did't help us and she just said that medical assistance is very expensive), old and noisy air conditioning unit which you need to switch off if you want to get enough sleep, and a horrible smell from the bathroom (like an old, rotten cabbage). English of the hotel's staff is very poor but they are nice and friendly (except for the aforementioned lady).

β β β β β We stayed 4 days in hotel. Very nice location to go everywhere, close to the lovely cafe in the corner and couple of restaurants near by. Rooms are normal with good breakfast ! Very polite and friendly staff (except one woman ?) who gave us information for everything!
There wasn't hot water in the afternoon but it was very hot in the morning and at night .
Breakfast served in bed and includes only sweet food. Every day cleaned room and towels!
Near to metro station Repubblica(10 min.) , to bus station (1 min.) Close to Termini station!

β β β β β Wasn't too bad. Room was good. Breakfast was basic, but I didn't expect anything fancy for a 2 star hotel
Generally I was happy. Only thing that lets this place down is the snooty miserable rude lady on reception. I asked her a question regarding breakfast times only to be rudely spoken to in English then as I walked off she muttered something in Italian under her breath. Very rude woman with no customer service!

β β β β β Can't complain. Friendly staff despite the obvious language barrier (I don't speak Italian). The place was clean and small. You get what you pay for. The Sink is very close to the toilet. Almost above it. More comical than anything else. ?
Great price and great for a short stay. Comfy bed

β β β β β Ideal location to go wherever you need to, plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Run by a lovely couple who are more than happy to help you with anything you need. Clean room, comfy bed, warm shower (soap & shower gel), fridge and kettle (with teas and coffee) in room. Quiet at night. Breakfast brought to your room at the time you request, coffee, juice, pastry, yoghurt, cake, crackers, biscuits and various spreads. Lift/stairs access and security coded door so you can let yourself in and out as you please. Great place as a base for exploring Rome!
