★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely city park in Varese. Even better when the plants are not dormant for the winter I am sure. Great place for a walk. There are several playgrounds for the kids (including a mini train to ride!). There is a small cafe near the back which served ice cream bars for the kids and cocktails for the adults. Beautiful and we'll kept.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful public park with amazing landscaped slopes and full of veteran trees, with helpful signs in English explaining each species and specimen. We should celebrate veteran trees in this way in the UK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our friends we were visiting took us to this beautiful park and we had coffee in the warm sun in early spring. Having left the cold in the UK. Had the best afternoon and really enjoyed this gorgeous park. Lots of people enjoying this peaceful park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful park in the heart of Varese, open to public for free of course. You can go and take a nice walk or visit villa Mirabello, a beautiful building that now functions as a Civic museum.
On the way you will see some rare plants and trees, such as the Cedar of Lebanon.
