★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gelato, maybe the best in town. In Matera you can get great gelato almost everywhere but this one stands out. Amazing combo of ricotta and fig marmelade or pistacchio. Great caffe or nocciolla. Add some whipped cream and you'll be in gelato heaven.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a religious moment here. The pistachio gelato sets the bar. Don't leave without trying at least three different flavors, which you can get on the medium cone. And then take some of the little 1€ pastries home with you. The little square with the raspberry was a mind-blowing salted caramel raspberry phenomenon. The chocolate square with grated coconut also very, very good. Get one of each and thank yourself later!
