una bella sorpresa poter visitare. all'interno le cantine ove sono custodite le botti e attraverso cunicoli costruiti in epoca medioevale si possono apprezzare attrezzature di quella epoca .
typical shop with a large cellar of wine and oil, cheeses and meats. the polite staff offers tastings of everything without obligation to buy.
a nice surprise to be able to visit. inside the cellars where the barrels are kept and through tunnels built in medieval times you can appreciate equipment from that era.

Il proprietario ci ha descritto la storia dell'edificio e la particolarità dei piatti. Merita una visita alla splendida cantina d'epoca. Lasciatevi guidare nella scelta dei vini. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Che dire è stata un ottima scelta lo consiglio.
Magnificent location, ancient residence. Welcoming with impeccable service, excellent and well-prepared food, nothing is left to chance. The owner described the history of the building and the particularity of the dishes. Worth a visit to the splendid vintage cellar. Let us guide you in the choice of wines. Excellent quality-price relation. What can I say was a great choice I recommend it.

Wyśmienite wina, zarówno 'flagowe' Vino Nobile di Montepulciano jak i Rosso.
Bardzo sympatyczna gospodyni, pianistka i miłośniczka muzyki Chopina (co jest dodatkową atrakcją dla turystów z Polski).
Warto zejść parę metrów z Piazza Grande, spróbować wina i kupić parę butelek.
A small but charming wine shop of Gattavecchi vineyard.
Excellent wines, both the flagship Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Rosso.
A very nice hostess, pianist and lover of Chopin's music (which is an additional attraction for tourists from Poland).
It's worth going down a few meters from Piazza Grande, trying some wine and buying a few bottles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Отличный выбор вин. Сначала покупать вино не собирались, т.к. уже всё было куплено за городом в винарии, но чудесная экстравагантная хозяйка лет 80ти очаровала и невозможно было уйти от неё без покупки.
У семьи Gattavecchi своё производство вин, хозяйке магазинчика дело досталось от покойного мужа, трое детей, которые работают в семейном бизнесе на производстве.
Загляните в магазинчик, не пожалеете.
Рекомендую белое вино Vernaccia
Great selection of wines. At first they were not going to buy wine, because everything was already bought out of town in Vinaria, but the wonderful extravagant mistress of about 80 years old charmed and it was impossible to leave her without a purchase.
The Gattavecchi family has its own wine production, the owner of the store got the job from her late husband, three children who work in the family business in production.
Take a look at the store, you will not regret it.
