★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very good place to visit. It can be reached easily by train to Formia-Gaeta station, then by station bus to Gaeta port station. From there, there is bus every twenty minutes to the Gaeta city. It has good beaches, beautiful views and delicious seafoods. Enjoy your time..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gaeta is a well-preserved historical city. One needs patience and at least two days for full exploration. Beaches, churches, bastions and tracks, boat trips passing majestic rocks and the beautifully calming sight to the city from the sea. Not too crowded by the end of June.

If you visit the town, you should try the "tiella" typical dish from Gaeta

Unfortunately the town could and should do more to keep it clean. I saw people smoking and throwing cigarettes butts everywhere, even smoking at playgrounds is allowed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! Sea on both sides of the city, great place to go to the beach, have long walks, bike/... rides, great ice cream at Gelateria Il Molo(I recommend it). Parking your car can be a bit difficult, but not impossible.
