★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a meal in this lovely cosy restaurant last night. We’re vegetarian, and the food was great. Had half a litre of house red, and it was so good, we just had to order another! Terrific atmosphere, really friendly, and busy busy busy! Get there quickly for a great evening, terrific food and wine, lovely music, and warm atmosphere.

We eat 100% plant-based food and we just loved the plentiful selection of foods and desserts that this place offer, and most of all, everything was delicious! Would come back tomorrow if we were not already on our way downwards the east coast by then :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a most beautiful experience. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew that this would be a special meal. The menu is ambitious, playing many different culinary notes and delivering on each one. I had the mini-appetizer plate, a smorgasbord of Mediterranean delights. I then had the Iranian Chicken dish. There are lots of vegetarian options to choose from as well. I will definitely be visiting this place a few more times during my stay in Venice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fine restaurant is a must for any serious visitor to Venice. Frary’s is by far offering one of the best and freshest dishes in town. Expect your taste buds to be treated to a delicious explosion of flavors.
If you need gluten free food, Frary’s has many great options on the menu for you. If you enjoy vegan food, you have found a high quality place to dine in Venice. If you like meat or seafood and have no gluten allergy, you will also be delighted to eat here.
The service was kind, friendly and helpful from all the staff. Making reservations over the phone was not a problem, and we witnessed the staff to do whatever possible to also accommodate guests that just walked up without a reservation.
If you come to Venice, don’t fall for the tourist trap restaurants with their typical and often bland “made for tourists” dishes. Instead come to Frary’s and experiences exotic taste combinations that take through different countries and cultures around the Mediterranean Sea.
I rarely say this, but Frary’s truly deserves recognition as one of the very best kitchens with the friendliest service in Venice.

We had eaten a lot of pizza and pasta in Italy already and this restaurant gave a great alternative, we had amazing lamb and chicken dishes with rice including many drinks all at super reasonable price. The waiters and waitresses were all really nice and helpful and we couldn’t have been happier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frary’s was very good. We ordered the Vegetarian Appetizer Platter and the Vegetarian Couscous. Their hummus, spanakopita, and fried kale were superb, as well as the flavors in the rest of the platter. The couscous was also great, which came with a tomato broth that warmed us up after walking outside in the cold. At the end, since we loved the fried kale so much, we ordered another plate of it! Our server, Christina, was very kind and attentive as well. I recommend this place, especially while looking for vegetarian options in Venice.
