★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to buy fresh seafood and vegetables. A lot of fish I cannot even name... Even reasonable prices. Placed in nice historical building.
It's worth to be there in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome local market. Be sure to see it in the morning though when all the shops and stalls are open (we were there at ~8:30am). This is where many locals buy fresh fish, meat, & produce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit tourist attraction in Venice. A lovely place with lots of small luxury shops but there are souvenir shops as well.
Walking here in the early morning before the buzz was really amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is small. Not huge. If you compare to victoria market. Actually since venice has lots shops, the one that they sell in the market is actually similar. But price wise, compare with the shops maybe a bit cheaper but not all. Mostly all the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the heart of Venice is undoubtedly St. Mark’s Square, for over a millenium the business center has been Rialto. The name was derived from the river high bank – Rivo altus. In addition to the most beautiful bridge of Renaissance Italy, Mercato di Rialto is also the main city market. It was divided according to the type of goods which were sold here: Beccaria – for meats, Caseria – for cheese, Drapperia – for fabric and silk, Erbaria – for vegetables and Pescheria for fish.
In the evening, under the columns built in 1514, there is no sign of the sale of fish few hours ago. The space can also be rented for commercial purposes such as fashion and music events or festive feasting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. I am a big fan of markets especially ones where you find restaurants shopping too. Now I realize you are not buying right from the fisherman but the fish is as fresh as you can! Most still living or very recently pulled from the water.
