Ben organizzato, dotato di ogni strumento utile alle diagnosi, E'' un importante Istituto di ricerca per malattie neurologiche, con personale preparato alla cura e riabilitazione dei problemi del movimento. E' anche una casa di riposo per anziani malati. Il bar ha una sala ampia, fornisce anche i giornali. Non ho visto uno spaccio per acquistare piccole cose utili, come sapone, fazzolettini, pannolini, ricariche telefoniche. Ha una lava e asciuga per fare il bucato. Vi è anche un bel parco con prati, alberi, orto, serra, animali vari: cavalli per la ippoterapia, caprette, cervi, galline particolari. Vi è una tenda tipo gazebo, panchine di legno, ormai vecchie e logore, che andrebbero sostituite con panchine in plastica resistente e facilmente lavabili . Si può accedere anche alla spiaggia dove vi sono anche delle cabine in muratura. La spiaggia in Aprile era un pò sporca di rami ed un albero arrivati sull'arenile con le mareggiate. Per noi il ricordo e' nel cuore. Grazie!!! Mi reco a mezzogiorno per fare RM con contrasto, dopo aver richiesto rassicurazioni in sede di prenotazione (in via privata) per via dell’essere agofobico, obeso e claustrofobico e aver ricevuto conferma sul fatto che non ci sarà alcun problema, perché hanno la macchina adatta. Il dottore incaricato del prelievo non trova gli aghi. Pare quasi che il reparto non sappia che esami debba fare nel corso della giornata: non si spiega in altro modo il fatto che il materiale per eseguire l’indagine non sia stato preparato. Pur avvisato che ho le vene profonde il medico usa l’unico ago che gli capita sottomano (uno dei più grossi, da 2.2mm), col quale pratica 6 buchi a vuoto su due polsi. A quel punto, sconfortato e quasi colpevolizzandomi per avere "la carne troppo soda", cerca meglio e trova un ago da 1,5 mm, che inserisce sul dorso della mano insanguinando sia essa che il pavimento. Si arriva alla macchina per la risonanza. Nessuno mi chiede l’esito del preliminare esame delle catecolamine, indispensabili per evitare rischi nell’assunzione del contrasto. Avevo avvisato che sono claustrofobico. Faccio 61 cm di spalle e la macchina è da 60 cm, vecchia e stuccata malamente al suo interno: struscio nel tubo e l’esame abortisce causa claustrofobia. Unica nota positiva, la gentilezza del personale allo sportello. Tutto il resto francamente imbarazzante… P.S: Ho provveduto a mandare i dati richiesti nella vostra cortese risposta.
