I have not been to the ditch but only to the village and I must say that it was disappointing to see it desolate. Too bad because it would have a potential charm given the shops, the alleys and the windows overlooking the valley. Absolutely to be valued!

Google maps ci ha portato su una stradina stretta che saliva sulla destra, non abbiamo preso quella via, ma siamo andati un po più avanti fino al cartello con la scritta i sentieri della valla della treja. Abbiamo preso questo sentiero, che ti porta proprio dentro il bosco, ma dopo 10 minuti di camminata abbiamo rinunciato, perché si scendeva tanto, sembrava un po pericoloso, stavamo con la bimba di due anni e presto faceva anche buio, ma ci siamo detti che vogliamo tornare perché il posto sembra molto interessante e bello. La gente del posto non sembra conoscerlo bene, perché abbiamo chiesto a varie persone. Vicino c e un borgo medievale Calcata che è meraviglioso! Un posto proprio da favola.
Hi! We tried to get there today and maybe we found one of the trails. Google maps took us on a narrow road that went up to the right, we did not take that route, but we went a little further up to the sign with the words the paths of the treja valley. We took this path, which takes you right into the woods, but after 10 minutes of walking we gave up, because it went down a lot, it seemed a bit dangerous, we were with the two-year-old and soon it was also dark, but we said to ourselves that we want to go back because the place looks very interesting and beautiful. The locals don't seem to know him well, because we asked various people. Nearby there is a medieval village of Calcata which is wonderful! A fairytale place.
