★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un luogo storico immerso nel silenzio e circondato da ampia zona a prato in gran parte pianeggiante. Possibilità di percorrere sentiero ad anello che lo circonda. Ampio parcheggio.

Vasto prato all'esterno e tettoia molto grande. Cucina interna attrezzata, un altro locale adibito come guardaroba ecc (da noi solitamente utilizzato come area DJ ?) e wc.
A pochi metri dalla tettoia, si possono visitare i vari forti abbandonati, molto caratteristici, oltre ai molti sentieri dove fare passeggiate, per i più attivi ?.
Anche in caso di pioggia, come è accaduto a noi oggi, è un locale abbastanza riparato, nonostante sia aperto ai lati.

A few meters from the canopy, you can visit the various abandoned forts, very characteristic, in addition to the many paths for walking, for the more active ?.
Even in the event of rain, as has happened to us today, it is a fairly sheltered space, although it is open to the sides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto vicino al paese di Mattarello dove è possibile vedere in parte un forte della 1 g.m. mancano però panchine per chi vuole riposarsi dopo la salita o mangiare un boccone e in generale il posto risulta un po' brullo, specie durante l'estate. Mancano anche targhe esplicative della funzione rivestita dal forte e, purtroppo, qualche incivile ha imbrattato i muri all'interno della costruzione

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Novità assoluta per me. Sapevo della esistenza dei forti in zona Mattarello ma non sapevo degli ultimi lavori di sistemazione. Casa degli alpini rimessa a nuovo, cucina super attrezzata e spazio immenso dive poter passare del tempo in serenità es allegria.
