A volte luogo di ritrovo di giovani annoiati che con il loro "comportamento" contribuiscono al degrado di un luogo che non lo merita. A lot of history, a suggestive location, a stop for many hikers. Sebbene in cattivo stato conservativo, a causa soprattutto dei soliti incivili che lo utilizzano come discarica abusiva, mantiene ancora un certo fascino e merita una visita se si è in zona. Raggiungibile a piedi dalla città attraverso un paio di sentieri Military fort built in 1881 and in use until 1945, now in a complete state of neglect. Ormai in totale stato di abbandono, sia come rifugio di tossico dipendenti e sfogo dei vandali, è anche una discarica abusiva a cielo aperto. L’unico motivo per visitarlo è la vista eccezionale su tutta Savona. Dei tre forti di Savona, con quelli della Madonna del Monte e del monte Ciuto, è quello in peggior stato, sia per quanto riguarda gli atti vandalici sia per quanto riguarda l’invasione della vegetazione.
