Beautiful place full of history ..... pity that it is not properly enhanced both in the restoration of the structure .... both in the media ..... we are right in Italy!

Dall'esterno sinceramente non appare interessante e non meritevole di un deviazione per poterlo ammirare. La cosa più bella è salire al fresco del passo, fuggendo dalle temperature torride della costa o della pianura. P	Piero Crosia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Punto di partenza per splendidi itinerari nell'entroterra ligure ....attraversato dall'Alta via dei monti liguri (AV) ... a mio parere , il forte non sembra per niente curato e mantenuto dagli organi preposti ...potrebbe essere valorizzato ...peccato ! M	Mar cus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five stars. The passage through the Fort is a fantastic moment. Especially for cyclists. If you come from Calizzano you can enjoy than a great and long ride down to Finale Ligure, Pietra Ligure or Borgio Verezzi. The Fort was built more than 200 years ago in not very peaceful times. Either with bike, with car, with motorcycle or as a hiker, make a little break there. Its most of the day a silent place now. The Alta via dei monti luguri ( AV )lead along there. On my bucket list since many years.
