Facilmente raggiungibile in macchina sia dalla Conca Verde, sia dalla Madonna del Monte e sia da Cadibona. In bici risulta agevole solo la salita da Cadibona, mentre sulle sue pendici esistono diversi itinerari di MTB Panoramic point in the immediate hinterland of Savona from which you can mainly admire the city of Vado Ligure. Ha subito con qualche danno il bombardamento francese del 1940. Si possono ancora vedere gli alloggiamenti di due obici da 280mm su torrette a scomparsa. È ancora visibile il muro esterno di cinta e ci si può arrivare tramite la strada militare in ottimo stato per essere abbandonata alla natura selvaggia. Vi sono due piazzole dove è possibile camminare, le cupole e le protezioni dei passaggi sotterranei sono in buono stato. Dall’ esterno è possibile vedere i due piani sotterranei con tanto di fregi sulle pareti. Un sentiero circonda tutta la costruzione offrendo la possibilità di ammirarla tutta.
