★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupendo passaggio, soprattutto in autunno con neve ghiacciata, e tirar fuori i ramponi, Obbligatori, visto che sul Monte Cavallo c'è un morto all'anno.
Superb passage, especially in autumn with frozen snow, and pulling out the crampons, mandatory, since on Monte Cavallo there is one death per year.

The Palantina fork separates Friuli from Veneto, the Cavallo from the Palantina, the Val Sughet from the Val de Piera, the direct way to reach it is Piancavallo, from there one transits to climb the top of Manera or Palantina. Beautiful panorama on fine days.
