★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il primi pensiero che mi ha venuto in mente ed lo voglio condividere con voi è il fatto che ho pensato alla sindaca di Roma Virginia ed non poso non negare che in qualche modo un collegamento c'è e come perché il venere rappresenta la feminita,l'amore, bellezza e la virtù del universo.

nella parte posteriore del Casino Borghese, nel 'Giardino di Venere". La statua della dea è una copia della Venere Medicea.
Inizialmente al centro della fontana c'era la statua del Narciso, voluta dal cardinale Scipione.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Piazzale Scipione Borghese nel quartiere III (Pinciano), che si trova sul lato posteriore della Casina Nobile si trova la Fontana della Venere (del XIX secolo).
Si compone di una grande vasca circolare, con il bordo piatto, lungo la circonferenza, sono posizionati dei basamenti con vasi a forma di coppa.
Nel centro del bacino sono posizionate delle rocce che raffigurano una scogliera dalla quale sgorga un alto getto d’acqua, vicino è posta la statua di Venere che ricorda la Venere de' Medici, che nell’atto di lavarsi appare raffigurata in piedi completamente nuda, in una posizione pudica e con alle spalle un’anfora.
