La fontana in piazzale degli Eroi costituisce la mostra terminale dell’Acquedotto del Peschiera, considerato uno dei maggiori acquedotti in Europa, la cui entrata in servizio nel 1949 fu celebrata con una cerimonia solenne alla presenza del presidente della Repubblica Luigi Einaudi.
Fountain recently restored very simple but functional
The fountain in Piazzale degli Eroi is the final exhibition of the Peschiera Aqueduct, considered one of the largest aqueducts in Europe, whose entry into service in 1949 was celebrated with a solemn ceremony in the presence of the President of the Republic Luigi Einaudi.
