★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata a visitare la mostra di Markus Schinwald. Mostra molto interessante e particolare ma bellissimo senz'altro il luogo dove è allestita la mostra:
il magnifico Torrione medievale. Articolata sui sei livelli della torre è veramente molto suggestiva e inoltre dall'alto del Torrione si gode di una vista di Vicenza decisamente impagabile. Assolutamente da vedere.
I went to visit the Markus Schinwald exhibition. Very interesting and particular exhibition but certainly the place where the exhibition is set up is beautiful:
the magnificent medieval tower. Spread over the six levels of the tower, it is truly very suggestive and also from the top of the Torrione you can enjoy a view of Vicenza that is definitely priceless. A must see.

Il percorso di sei piani articolato verso l’alto, che culmina con l’arrivo in cima al Torrione medioevale e la sua vista unica, a trecentosessanta gradi, sulla città di Vicenza, rappresenta un’inaspettata novità per l’arte contemporanea. Ho avuto la fortuna di visitare l’edificio durante la prima mostra “La Torre”, che presentava una serie di opere inedite, di Neo Rauch e Rosa Loy.
Ho apprezzato molto il dialogo costante e fiabesco tra le immagini oniriche presenti nelle opere esposte e gli spazi del Torrione.
Bravi.
Finding such an evocative and symbolic place dedicated to art today is a really difficult undertaking. The six-storey path upwards, which culminates with the arrival at the top of the medieval tower and its unique 360 degree view of the city of Vicenza, represents an unexpected novelty for contemporary art. I was lucky enough to visit the building during the first "La Torre" exhibition, which presented a series of unpublished works by Neo Rauch and Rosa Loy.
I really appreciated the constant and fairytale dialogue between the dream images present in the works on display and the spaces of the Torrione.
Well done.

Non si può non salire sul bellissimo torrione medioevale se si è a Vicenza.
Da segnalare anche la cortesia del personale, molto preparato e cortese.
I've been twice, the first for Neo Rauch and the second for Markus Schinwald. Two of the greatest contemporary artists nowadays. A crazy place with a contagious atmosphere.
You cannot fail to climb the beautiful medieval tower if you are in Vicenza.
Also noteworthy is the courtesy of the staff, very prepared and courteous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. It was closed even thought it was supposed to be open. The info on the website was completely different and misleading from the info on the front door. There was nobody answering the phone and they had not informed the other info offices as they were supposed to. I went there twice standing and waiting. Too bad as i wanted to look at the exhibition that they are supposedly supporting.
