★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great true 4* luxurious hotel on the lungomare.
Very cozy and modern yet stylish rooms, comfy beds and en suite shower, mini bar, big TV, great wifi, nice heating and AirCo. Lift and garden well maintained, all clean and nice views on the sea.
Very professional and friendly staff, especially Simona @ breakfast, always smiling and prepares the best cappuccino in town.
Breakfast is down sized Italian style these days but nevertheless exquisite for a good start into your day. 1 Minute from beaches, restaurants, shopping, with car park either paid within the premises or free on the streets.
If I come back to beautiful Ostia I will stay right here at Fly Decó.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel has an ok location in Ostia. However, the rooms are generally small and tired. I didn’t like the room I had been assigned for 4 nights and the hotel kindly offered me a complimentary upgrade for 2 of my 4 nights. Meaning I had to move back to the tiny dark room I didn’t like at the end of the stay, which was fine. However, the receptionist then charged me 120 Euro for the “free” upgrade when I checked out. When trying to address the matter with him he started yelling at the top of his lungs - very unprofessional. And, I had no choice but to just leave and file the complaint with the credit card company. Days after my stay the hotel then posted yet another (inexplicable) charge to my credit card, and I had to file yet another complaint.
Just not worth the hassle for a short stay by the beach if you ask me, and I would recommend staying somewhere else if you ever visit Ostia. If you do stay at Fly Deco my advice would be to pay cash so you don’t have to deal with any ‘surprise’ extra charges

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A weird air condition and Electricity goes on and off every half an hour! Reception does not answer the phone and not even standing in their place! If you are Italian I don't suggest you Go there but if you're foreigners then perhaps you don't realise how the stuff are not nice! Only men working in the reception and no woman around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience of our entire vacation. We booked a “Hotel + Airport Transfer”, which they refused to honor. Right in black and white I have my reservation that states my rate included a one way transfer. Their website also states they have 24 hr reception, which isn’t true. We called around midnight, stopped by reception desk and emailed; all no response. Lastly, when we left in a hurry in the morning with our taxi having arrived, reception didn’t know who we were even with our room number, he asked to see our passport, holding up our departure, advising us are stay was 3 days earlier and calling us by the wrong last name even with our passport in his hands. There are plenty of hotels in the area, this hotel is very dishonest, disorganized, unresponsive and a complete waste in any effort to stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is on two different pages. The afternoon manager assured us, with confidence, that it would be easy to get a cab to the airport at 4 am. So at 4 am, the night manager couldn’t reach the cab company, rudely said we should have scheduled one for that time of morning, and was not very helpful. We called an Uber who would save the day. He scoffed that we called Uber instead of a local cab company, and I get why, but Uber was the one who pulled through.
Rooms are average but small and cramped. Nice sea view and easily walkable. Wouldn’t stay here again though. Photo is the view from nearby beaches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Hotel. However Service could be better and nicer. Room was quite Cold (also with heater room was fine however bath was still ice cold) in the summer I think that is of benefit. Breakfast was not good. One bread only left no butter left at 9:15 with not many guest at the hotel. That should not happen at any Hotel and especially at a 4 Star Hotel. Also the service could have check if there could be something available however like the reception not really customer focus.
