★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located about 600m away from the San Gimignano city walls, this was an oasis of quiet presided over by one of the most helpful hostesses we've encountered on our travels. We arrived after hours, and there were clear directions on how to get in. The apartment was spacious and comfortable - even if the kitchen and furniture was a little worn in places. Guests get a free olive oil/wine tasting of the products produced from the vineyards you can see from the lawn (they are both rather good). There's plenty of parking, so we just left our car on site and walked into town. A washing machine is available for €5/load, as is a wine/food tasting on the lawn. There's a beautiful infinity pool, although it was a bit cold to actually swim in May. Definitely our go-back-to-place for San Gimignano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The facility is located less than a kilometer outside of San Giminiano. There is a bus stop right in front of the door, but you can also easily negotiate the route by bike or on foot (on a mostly illuminated sidewalk).
The apartments are well equipped and WiFi is also available in the garden. The pool in the middle of olive trees is a highlight. Unfortunately the wine tasting only takes place once a week on Wednesday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented the 2-bedroom apartment, which had 2 baths and a kitchen. I was a little disappointed that the A/C we were promised was not working, but it was okay temperature-wise in mid-September. The road is very close, so expect some traffic noise at night. That said, the rooms were comfortable and the location was exceptional within a short walk of San Gimignano. The grounds were gorgeous with spectacular Tuscan landscapes. The pool was a nice addition. We did the vineyard tour/wine/food tasting and met great people from other countries. Marianna was delightful and helpful. She even let us run a tab for the winery's outstanding Vernaccia white and a red. I would go back in a minute!
