Tenuta Guardastella is rare as it is authentic. They believe in crafting both experiences and quality and manage this very well. My wife, toddler and I stayed at the vineyard for three nights in one of their comfortable apartments. We were especially well taken care of from beginning to end and fell in love with the hosts' and staff's kindness and child-friendliness, the breakfast ?, attention to detail, and passion that goes into both creating excellent wines and memorable stays. Susanna and Fausto went above and beyond hosting our daughters wedding! Every member of the staff have a superb customer service, and the amazing wine and fresh meals they prepared during our stay makes you feel you don’t want to leave Guardastelle! They are always available to help and answer questions, doesn’t matter the time, or the day ensuring you are always taken care of 24/7. Thank you again for making our daughters dream come true!

I honestly have never enjoyed such a stay. From the very second we drove up to the grounds, we were in awe of how gorgeous the scenery was. This place is truly magical. Susana and Fausto welcomed us warmly with a glass of wine (which we then proceeded to order plenty of bottles after because it was delicious and also very well priced) and shared their knowledge and recommendations for restaurants in the town. The apartment was stunning. While it wasn't ice cold (like most Americans are used to) it was perfect to get cool and stay cool while sleeping. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure. The pool and pool deck was perfect - very relaxing and soothing. We booked a wine tour - which I highly recommend with the wine tasting and lunch. Such a good idea. The town - San Gimignano was incredible - it is a 1km walk to the town. Because it's up hill we were timing it to be about 20-25 min walk. Very easy, but if you do struggle with any health issues, I would recommend having a car. We did not have a car and found it very easy to navigate via taxi (about 30/40 euros each way) from the train station and then walked everywhere. I would recommend making reservations for places before you arrive or on your first night. Some restaurants had a dress code, so dress smart. Overall - such a fabulous experience and cannot wait to go back in the future or send future friends and family! Have been telling everyone! We went in September 2021 and it was perfect.

My boyfriend and I did the premium wine tour for 33€ per person. It wa absolutely worth it. It's a cute small winery. The location is beautiful and the view from the estate breathtaking. The lady who did the tour was well informed and really friendly. We tasted 3 wines and a huge variety of foods from the area.

My husband and I stayed here for one week in April. We absolutely had the most memorable time of our lives. From the minute we settled in after a long (red eye) flight from Canada, we get so very welcomed. Our suite (villa) was amazing, a true sense of Italy. We were too tired to go out for dinner and it was Easter weekend so chances our we could not find a place to eat regardless. Fausto recommended a wonderful pasta dish that we made in our villa, which we absolutely loved and have made two times since arriving back in Canada. The grounds were absolutely breathtaking and we woke up every morning feeling as though we were in a dream world. We both cannot wait to go back!

Guardastelle is an amazing place to stay and/or have an event. The owners Fausto and Susanna are such kind people and really make your experience unforgettable. The pictures online do not do it justice. The views of Tuscany and the town of San Gimignano are incredible. We had our wedding reception here and everything was beyond perfect! The took all of our request and made them happen. I highly recommend this place for anybody interested in staying here or having an event.

Beautiful venue just a stone’s throw from San Gimignano with awesome views of the Tuscan countryside and the town itself. The hosts are so gracious and attentive. We stayed 2 nights with a wine tour and lunch one of the days. Guardastelle’s wines and olive oil were so good we had several bottles of each shipped home! The pool looked so inviting, but it was a little chilly in late March to swim but imagine it will be great In the summer months. Such a great place. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here on a family trip with my dad, brother and sister in law. Guardastelle is a beautiful property nestled in the hills of Tuscany. With views for miles of the surrounding countryside, you feel as if you’re in your own private oasis, yet the town of San Gimignano is only a 15 minute walk away! Fausto and Susanna are excellent hosts and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of their amazing wine and were truly made to feel like family. While we were there we did the wine tour and tasting, which I would highly recommend, and I can’t say enough about the breakfast that was included in our stay. A truly magnificent spread of fresh fruits, pastries, cold cuts and house made breads and cakes! Eggs and bacon were also made to order. A perfect way to start your day in Tuscany. We stayed here for a week and used it as a base while we traveled to neighboring areas. It’s a great location and Florence and Siena are less than an hours drive away. I would highly recommend Guardastelle to anyone looking for the quintessential Tuscan experience. I can’t wait to go back!
