★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place in the month of June 2016. There are different variety of wine. I tested Vernaccia-based wine here. It has a long history, and since the Renaissance period has been considered one of Italy's oldest and most noble wines. Its fame has no doubt been strongly connected to its region of origin, San Gimignano. Woow, great wine factory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has the best spot in San Gimignano for a drink. The best sunset is guaranteed in this place, and a superb view of the Tuscann valley.
There isn't, however, a good variety of wines, as expected, and the ones offered are a bit overpriced.
Nevertheless, I would come back with my own drinks and enjoy an afternoon with the occasional live music and the quiet nature around.

We came in Sept 2020 for an early afternoon mini wine tasting.
Highly recommend for local wine tasting in a gorgeous setting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot to taste San Gimignano's finest selection of its special Vernaccia. The workers are knowledgeable about the wines and area and can easily explain things to you or ask questions. You can show up and easily sample a selection of 16 wines and drink other kinds as well. Then you can sit at a table outside with a fantastic view or a table inside if the weather isn't great. Definitely stop by!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although I was unfamiliar with the Vernaccia variety - and generally don’t drink whites - this grape is crisp, dry, with just enough fruit on the palate. The view and small piazza are lovely as well.
